Bill Stephens was born in Miami, Florida and has spent his entire life in the same state. He attended Florida State University, and taught at USF for nearly 40 years, retiring as a full professor and was an integral part of the rise of USF to a position in the top 50 public universities in the United States. Bill is prolific in writing articles for well-recognized accounting and business journals and has combined with two other professors writing five editions of a Principals of Accounting textbook for McGraw Hill Publishing Co. and single editions of both Management Accounting and Managerial Accounting textbooks. He is also author of Depression: Successfully Overcoming Depression and Other Emotional Problems (Castle Quay Books). Bill lives with his wife Carolyn in Florida.
