This cleverly presented book takes today's reader easily back to the days when brave explorers, often wearing big hats and tweed jackets, followed their dreams across hostile and unknown regions of the world. From the minute you open the 1930's style 'Boys Own Annual' cover, your attention is caught as you are shown by Sir Henry Hardcastle how to become an explorer yourself. There are wonderful diagrams, lift up flaps, pop up sections, games and time lines to aid your understanding. * Carousel * ... is a beautifully illustrated and captivating book - inspirational fodder for all inquisitive Brownie-age explorers. * Guiding Magazine *More details
