Daniel has been developing his own car for years and has learned much about the practical problems of tuning and modifying cars, even including testing in the Horiba-MIRA full scale wind tunnel. A current and former contributor to numerous magazines, including Top Car, Fast Car, MG Enthusiast, Track & Race Car, Grassroots Motorsport, and British Car, Daniel, after a stint in the RAF, is currently a civil servant. He is married with two daughters and lives in Nuneaton, England. Daniel is a licensed Motor Sport Assocation (MSA) Scrutineer, and officiates at diverse race meetings throughout the Midlands. His other books include "How to modify your retro or classic car for high performance" and "How to plan and build a fast road car", both part of Veloce's popular SpeedPro Series.
