Pilgrim Prayerbook

This manual of prayer and devotion is aimed in the first place at Anglican readers throughout the world. It incorporates all the newly approved liturgical texts. At the centre of the book's structure is the text of the Eucharist as set out in Common Worship. This is the heart of the book from which all else emanates. After a brief introduction explaining how the book could be used, Bishop Stancliffe has assembled a collection of prayers for many occasions and needs. His sources are ancient and modern but also draw on many christian traditions. Forms of prayer for daily use,sacramental prayers on specific themes, prayers for the seasons of the Church's year, classic prayers, and short starting points for prayer. There are prayers for special needs- bereavement, penitence, family, and marriage.Devotions are included as well to the Apostles, Our Lady and All Saints and All Souls.
