ASHLEY SPIRES is the author and illustrator of many bestselling books, including Fairy Science, the Magnificent series and the Binky The Space Cat series. Ashley studied at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where she was inspired to take up illustration after taking a class on bookmaking. She is a drinker of tea, eater of candy and lover of cats. When she is not making books, she enjoys yoga, jogging and making Swiftie-themed beaded bracelets. Ashley lives just outside Vancouver, British Columbia, with her dog and far too many felines.
