Structural Dynamics - EURODYN 2005

This book consists of more than 350 contributions by engineers, mathematicians and other professionals. It encompasses all major aspects of structural dynamics by addressing new developments as well as practical and novel applications of dynamical principles to all types of structural and mechanical systems in particular areas such as ambient vibrations, offshore engineering, experimental methods, bridge aerodynamics, man- induced vibrations, multibody dynamics, stochastic dynamics, reliability and earthquake aspects, uncertainty, traffic loads, vibroacoustics, soil-structure and fluid-structure interaction, impact, nonlinear dynamics, structural control, computational methods, damage, system identification, mechanical engineering, wind engineering etc. Both theoretical developments as well as industrial applications are treated.

The contributions are representing the work of the authors from many countries. Although in its core a European conference, a very strong participation from the USA and Japan is to be noted. In a concise form these proceedings should serve as a valuable reference on the recent developments in structural dynamics.
