Join us for Book #6 in our Childrens Book Series. Rabbi Abraham teaches Joey, Kristie and Juan about wrapping tefillin. Tefillin are ritual straps that help fulfill the Biblical commandment to "Wear them as a sign upon your hand and as a symbol between your eyes.". Did Jesus wear Tefillin? Come along on our journey and find out! The goal of the Jewish Christian Discovery Center (JCDC) is to reduce prejudice and anti- Jewish thoughts by educating Christians and Jews about their shared religious traditions. Our aim is the realization that we are all "spirtual siblings" connected by the Bible, shared history, and, most signficantly, through our expressions of faith. The biblical message of "love your neighbor as yourself" is our primary message.
