David Sloan has taught humanities in Waldorf schools for over 40 years. He is the founding teacher of the high school at Marine Coast Waldorf School in Freeport, Maine, USA. An advisor to Waldorf High Schools and a lecturer on Waldorf education, David completed his Waldorf teacher training at Emerson College, UK and achieved a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Southern Maine. He is the author of Life Lessons: Reaching Teenagers Through Literature. He lives in Maine, USA.
