Her area of expertise includes embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, and Internet of Things. She has published more than 300 research papers in SCI/Scopus journals. She has authored/edited 44 books in the areas of embedded systems, and the Internet of Things.
Surita Maini works as a professor in the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab, India. Her areas of research interest include electromagnetic waves, biosensors, computational electromagnetics, and microwave engineering. She has published research papers in journals and conferences of national and international repute. She is a senior member of the IEE-Institution of Engineers (India) and IEEE, USA.
