The present book traces the genesis and growth of Good Governance and Right to Service at the international, national, and state level. It explores the significance, elements, barriers, landmarks, and objectives of Good Governance and the Right to Service. It also deals with the relationship between Good Governance and the Right to Service. The present book includes the provision of the Punjab Right to Service Act 2011, and The Punjab Transparency and Accountability in the Delivery of Public Service Act 2018. It includes other initiatives taken by the Punjab Government to ensure the delivery of Public Services, such as Suwidha Center, Fard Kendra, Transport Center, Sewa Kendra, and Saanjh Kendra. It is tried to analyze the execution of Right to Service as a significant step towards Good Governance in S.A.S Nagar District through the viewpoints of the service users (citizens) and service providers (employees / officials) of Sewa Kendra & Saanjh Kendra. It is hoped that the present book will be helpful for researchers and students to understand the Good Governance, Right to Service, and Delivery of Public Services.
