Description
Fertigation is the technique in which the fertilizers are applied directly in low concentrations at the site of root zone which in turn increase the efficiency of the nutrients. The enhanced nutrient uptake thus helps the plant to optimally utilized and translocate the nutrients for better vegetative growth thus enabling the plant to get established which in turn increases the multiplication rate. In this book the role of nitrogen fertigation in enhancing the propagation rate in Alstroemeria cv. Pluto has been highlighted which would be beneficial for its clonal multiplication.
