Description
Increasing demand of internet access everywhere led to the rapid growth of 5G wireless network technology. Various wireless and mobile services have emerged ranging from Personal Area Network (PAN) to vehicular, traveler network service and Internet of Things (IOT). Mobility management is the key features of these emerging networks. Mobility management protocols provide internet access to the mobile nodes (users). Mobility management protocols are of two categories host based and network based. Network based protocols provide better results when compared in terms of handover latency, total cost, packet loss etc. When the group of users all heading in a common direction move across cell boundaries, generate a vast amount of location update traffic. This leads to service degradation. This book discusses the various issues regarding mobility of networks.
