The Magic Lift (Edition1)

Radhika Rai meets Colonel Tara, who as a young officer had saved the lives of the family of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman during the 1971 war. Impressed, she reads his autobiography. One day, when going down for some fresh air in the magic lift, she is transported back to 1971 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. There, she finds herself in the midst of war, making new friends and getting embroiled with the Mukti Bahini. With Pakistan's surrender just round the corner, she manages to get back to her time. But in the current time, it is more than fifty years since the 1971 war and Bangladesh is once again in turmoil. What will happen now?
