Emergence of ICT means, traditional library activities are undergoing variety of challenges and the way of delivery of information has also been changed. The author has undertaken Seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) library users to identify their information needs and changing expectations from the library. Users are becoming more tech-savvy. In order to meet their changing information needs and expectations, library staff must undergo a regular training program which will keep them up to date with various challenges. Today, libraries provide access to the vast amount of print as well as electronic resources. Due to shifting nature of information landscape, users are relying more on electronic resources because of its feasibility and easy access.
