Field Guide to the Birds of Australia

In this new edition of this reference 11 plates have been replaced, 52 extra or replacement black-and-white drawings are included and there are changes to 93 distribution maps. Field information has been modified or rewritten for 160 species. There is a new "rare bird bulletin" section, containing some 16 new or rare species for Australia, and miniature plates depict vagrants. The handbook section has been expanded by 40 pages.
