Description
This paper reviews the situation of MSMEs in Haiti and provides a brief analysis of the impact of economic, regulatory, and technological instruments on economic development and environmental protection. Discussions revealed that the application of these instruments offers prospects for improving the economic development of MSMEs. The structuring of MSMEs remains the main strategic action for growth and represents significant added value for the country's economic development. The overview of Haitian MSMEs enabled us to identify the shortcomings of the legal framework regulating the operation of MSMEs and to understand their contribution to the country's economic growth. These are essential tools for reducing poverty, facilitating development, and strengthening environmental protection policies across the country.
