When a young teenager, Billy, confronts challenges in school and at home, he finds help from the most unlikely place. A travelling man that shows up right before Christmas, 1944. Billy soon realizes the stranger, Bus Taylor, wasn't just another stranger. And although WWII did end before Billy could go to war, there was a different war. He was about to find out what kind of war was really there.
