Description
Emile takes care of the Count's special cars, one of which Aimée adores. She calls it "Blue Bug" and longs to drive it one day.
When Aimée falls ill, Emile drives her into the village to see a doctor. While waiting in Blue Bug for her father, a mystery woman appears and admires Blue Bug, the Bugatti Type 35 in which Aimée is sitting. The mystery woman turns out to be a famous French racing driver named Hellé Nice. She races a Bugatti Type 35 for the Bugatti racing team that is just like Blue Bug!
The two have a meaningful conversation about the importance of setting goals, dreaming big, and believing in one's dreams. Helle recounts some of her adventures as a young woman as examples of dreaming big, and she advises Aimée to follow her own dreams and wishes.
Will Aimée's wish to drive Blue Bug one day come true?
Blue Bug is a beautifully hand-illustrated children's story with a heartwarming lesson: a dream can be the most powerful engine of all.
