N. R. Shetty is the Chancellor of the Central University of Karnataka, Kalaburagi, and Chairman of the Review Commission for the State Private Universities of Karnataka. He currently serves as Advisor to the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bangalore. He is also the Founder and Vice-President of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES), USA. Dr. Shetty has served two terms as Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University and three terms as President of ISTE, New Delhi. Additionally, he has been a Member of the Executive Committee of the AICTE and Chairman of its South West Region.
L. M. Patnaik obtained his Ph.D. in 1978 in real-time systems and his D.Sc. in 1989 in computer systems and architectures, both from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. From 2008 to 2011, he served as the Vice-Chancellor of DIAT, a Deemed University in Pune. He is currently a NASI Senior Scientist and Adjunct Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore. He previously served as Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Automation and as Honorary Professor in the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at IISc, Bangalore, and as INSA Honorary Scientist at NIAS. Dr. Patnaik has authored over 1,300 publications in refereed international journals and conference proceedings.
John M. Acken is a faculty member in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Portland State University, Portland, Oregon. He earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Dr. Acken's primary research interests include hardware for information security, digital system testing, and VLSI design, with a focus on technologies and devices for information security and identity authentication. He has previously taught at Santa Clara University, Oklahoma State University, and Portland State University. He has also served on Ph.D. committees at institutions such as UC Santa Cruz, Carnegie Mellon University, Syracuse University, Oklahoma State University, and Portland State University. Dr. Acken is Co-Inventor of the patent titled "Conditional Access and Content Security Method."
Nalini N is Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore. She received her M.S. from BITS Pilani in 1999 and her Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2007. She has numerous international journal and conference publications to her credit and has received several prestigious awards, including the Bharath Jyoti Award by IIFS, New Delhi; the Dr. Abdul Kalam Life Time Achievement National Award for excellence in teaching, research publications, and administration by IISER, Bangalore; the Distinguished Professor Award by TechNext India 2017 in association with CSI, Mumbai Chapter; and the Best Professor in Computer Science & Engineering Award by the 26th Business School Affaire Dewang Mehta National Education Awards (Regional Round) in Bangalore.
