Michael Sheen (Author)
Michael Sheen is a renowned Welsh actor and homelessness activist. His incredible work on stage and screen has gained him numerous awards. A passionate social activist, Michael is the honorary president of Wales Council for Voluntary Action, and a patron of numerous British charities, including NSPCC's Child's Voice Appeal and Social Enterprise UK. In 2021, Sheen declared himself a not-for-profit actor. Michael lives in Wales with his partner and two daughters.
Jess Webb (Author)
Jess Webb has a PhD in English Literature from Cardiff University, specialising in Victorian fiction. She was awarded the Robert C. Schweik Prize at Yale University for her academic work on Thomas Hardy and is also a qualified secondary teacher. Jess lives in South Wales with her husband, Ben, and their two children. When she's not busy juggling the chaos of modern life, she can either be found on the beach with her family or enjoying a coffee at her village book club. A Home for Spark the Dragon is her debut picture book.
Sarah Massini (Illustrator)
Sarah Massini has had varied careers as both designer and illustrator. After gaining a first class degree in graphic design in Manchester, she worked as a corporate designer for blue-chip clients, including the Royal Mail and Cancer Research UK. She is also the creator of Bloomsbury's iconic Diana logo. However, the pull of illustration drew Sarah inexorably into children's publishing, firstly as an art editor and now as the critically acclaimed illustrator of over 30 books. These include the best-selling The Girl And The Dinosaur and classics such as The Velveteen Rabbit and The Little Prince. The New York Times praised Sarah's art as "...fantastically stylish... gorgeous and altogether satisfying..."
