Exploring Second Language Acquisition

In this book, Younghee Sheen covers the key topics in Second Language Acquisition, taking, as a starting point, the everyday problems and real-world issues faced by second language teachers in the classroom today. Each topic will be organised to promote reflective teaching by engaging the readers in considering how information from SLA has relevance to their own classrooms. The book will offer suggestions for how teachers can carry out practitioner research in their own classrooms as a way of acting on proposals for teaching that arise from their study of SLA. There will be activities, tasks and a glossary of key terms.
