Sean Sheehan was brought up in London but every summer holiday was spent in Ireland and only glimpses from train windows on journeys from Euston to Holyhead suggested that other places existed. After adult years of travelling and living in Southeast Asia Sean now has his home in Ireland. Patricia Levy visited West Cork one Easter when she was 19 and the memory of the spring flowers and heather on the hills has continued to draw her back like a narcotic. She is an experienced travel writer and now lives in Ireland.
