Description
Turning thirty is the perfect excuse to run away from home. And Ali Skye grabs this opportunity with both hands.
In an attempt to get some air and momentarily escape the suffocating pressure her family was putting on her during a celebration that should have been a joyful rite of passage (turning thirty), she inadvertently trades one absurd situation for another. How was she to know a simple walk to clear her head would carry her into a world of art, Tequila, light crime, romance and self-discovery?
Through the vibrant streets of Mexico, the jungles of the Yucatan and the highest points in Peru; Ali Skye meets an interesting cast of Homeric characters and finds out what she's really made of.

Legend has it that Nicole Sharp was born to hippies during an ice storm in Stone Mountain, Georgia. While confirmation of said events cannot be agreed upon, one fact is for certain, it was a Tuesday. By age twelve, Nicole was sure of two things: 1) She wanted to be a writer and 2) She wanted to travel. She begged her parents to allow her to voyage alone to exotic lands. They permitted to go from California to Boise, Idaho to visit a great-grandmother.These days, Nicole swigs cappuccinos the way a dehydrated sailor with scurvy would whiskey, as she writes about Italy, love, coffee and the quirky adventures of fearless women. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with no houseplants and three pink stovetop espresso makers.
