Description
Morning is an imaginative retelling of the Easter story. Told from Mary's perspective, it explores emotions and aspects of the story that might not normally be explored. Mary is waiting to go to Jesus' tomb on Sunday morning (the writer uses a bit of artistic licence, using Luke's description of some named and some unnamed women going to the tomb in Luke 24). The reader uncovers the story of Mary's part in God's plan as she remembers her part in the plan. The audio version of the story will go out in ten episodes on the ten days leading up to Easter Sunday. Episodes will also be posted on the facebook page and other social networking sites. The ebooks and the POD versions will be promoted through the use of the audio version. This multi channel approach will increase the reach of the story, as well as promoting WordLive. The story is told in a way that allows the Christian reader to explore the familiar story from a new angle. It's a good evangelistic tool, for use with young people and adults from outside a church community - it introduces the Easter story in an imaginative way. The story asks important questions about Jesus to both Christians and those outside a church community.
