Dr Sudipta K. Mishra is Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at GD Goenka University, India. He earned his PhD at the University of Iowa, USA, which involved exploring the connection between the USA's bio-energy goals and their implications on the environment through modelling the flow and transport of water and nutrients from agricultural land in the Midwest of the USA. Dr Mishra earned his master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and his BE from Jadavpur University, India.
