Sherry Shahan is best known for adventure novels FROZEN STIFF, ICE ISLAND, and DEATH MOUNTAIN. Her short stories, articles, and essays have been published widely. She holds and MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and taught a writing course for UCLA Extension for 10 years. PURPLE DAZE was produced as a reader's theater play.
