The book discusses Functional separable method (FSM) and its applications. In this book we have examined the nonstationary heat equation with a nonlinear source, the nonstationary heat equation with a logarithmic source, the nonlinear Klein-Gordan equation and the Kolmogorov-Petrovsky-Piskunov (KPP) equation. Also, we have analysed mathematical modelling of moisture content in unsaturated heterogeneous soil and its solution by using Functional separable method.

Disha A. Shah is working as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Indus University, Ahmedabad. She achieved her Ph.D. degree from Ganpat University, Ganpat Vidyanagar. She completed her M.Phil. and M.Sc. degree from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. She is a life member of MTS, GAMS, and GGM. She has more than 19 years of teaching experience.
