How the Weather Works introduces young children to the how-what-and-why of wind, rain, snow, thunder and lightning, temperature and other elements of that familiar but sometimes puzzling phenomenon we call weather.



Filled with facts and fun, this beginning science book has action pop-ups, pull tabs and lift ups that get children involved and let them see and understand some of the basic things that go on in our atmosphere.



Included are a windmill that turns, a wind speed chart, information about forecasting - and a lift-up quiz that will help a child "predict" the weather!
