TIM MCEWEN is a veteran Australian comics creator, having been published since he was a teenager in the 1980s. He's most well-known for co-creating the multi-award-winning, internationally distributed comic Greener Pastures, which follows the adventures, trials, tribulations, and sometimes the bowel movements, of TrevorBovis-- bull-turned-minotaur-turned-social activist-turned-sellout-lawyer. Tim has been nominated three times for the prestigious Australian Cartoonists' Association Stanley Award for Best Comic Book Artist, and received The Comic Arts Awards of Australia 2018 Platinum Ledger Award for contributions to the Australian comics community. Greener Pastures has been award nominated/shortlisted 23 times, winning 4 times. His work has featured in 27 exhibitions domestically and internationally, and he's often invited to speak and/or guest at comic conventions, festivals and fairs domestically and internationally. For ten years he was the convener or co-convener of the Comic Arts Awards of Australia (né e the Ledger Awards). For two years he was a committee member for the Australian Cartoonists' Association with a special remit for comics and graphic novel advocacy. He was the founding art director of Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, working to better position comics creators at that convention for nearly 20 years. He ran the first indie Aussie comics distribution service in the 1990s and has organised, run and championed innumerable local comics arts initiatives over the last 30+ years. As well as continuing to create comics, Tim is an executive producer and co-writer of a live-action short film based on the Greener Pastures comics. He's also a feature film storyboard artist, cartoonist, designer and educator lecturing, tutoring and teaching the creation, history and theory of comics at tertiary, secondary and primary levels, privately and in workshops and speaking engagements. DAN LYNCH is a Blue Mountains-based artist who has been working on various Australian and international comic books since 2004. Published work includes Sea Dragon #1 (Cult Fiction Comics Australia), Tides of Hope charity anthology, Retro Sci-fi Tales 2, 5 - 8, 10 - 12 (Dark Oz), The Super Australians (IPI Comics) and Steam-Age Wasteland (Antarctic Press) just to name a few. His latest work can be seen in The Human Fly (IPI), and Bonfire Horror Club (Dark Oz). STEPHEN KOK aka ES KAY is a Ringo-nominated letterer and had an awesome time working on The Dark Detective. He loves talking anything related to lettering as well deep diving into fonts. He is also an award-winning graphic novel creator with his works in over 500+ public libraries across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, UK and more. PHILIP CORNELL is a lifelong Sherlock Holmes enthusiast. He worked for many years as a commercial illustrator, caricaturist and cartoonist, and has created DVD sleeves, posters, comic strips, book covers and interior illustrations for the Australian market and for international clients. He has also worked as a story- board artist for TV commercials and a handful of movies. He belongs to Australia's preeminent Sherlock Holmes society, The Sydney Passengers (who derive their name from Conan Doyle's The Adventure of the Gloria Scott), and has not just provided many fine illustrations for that journal, but has written a number of well-regarded papers on the Holmes Canon. Of Sherlockian significance, his comics resume includes a series of full colour illustrated trading-cards of the popular comic-book hero ' The Phantom' for Frew Publishing, in which he wrote and drew a comics adventure on the reverse of the cards featuring a late 19th century Phantom battling Professor Moriarty and Colonel Moran! However, to cap off his standing as one of the world's foremost Sherlockian illustrators is the fact that local authorities in Switzerland commissioned him to provide some unique, colour illustrated plaques of Holmes and Watson that remain on public d
