Greg Seff lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has worked in the wireless communications field for over twenty-five years. Greg enjoys reading, martial arts training, visiting archaeological sites, motorcycle riding, collecting ancient coins, and writing. Greg and his wife are active in adopting rescue dogs from local shelters. (A portion of the proceeds from Dog at Sea is donated to rescue shelters.) Dog at Sea is Greg's first work of fiction. The idea for Dog at Sea came to Greg from two real life events. In the first, a fisherman found a dog stranded in the open waters of the Long Island Sound. In the second, a windsurfer discovered a dog adrift in the San Francisco Bay. In both cases, there were no boats in sight of the dogs, nor land nearby, and it is a mystery how the dogs found themselves lost at sea.
