4 Stars! "...covers the basics of imaging informatics from acquisition through data storage.... The purpose of this book is to provide information about clinical imaging informatics and how it is engrained in the medical imaging space. It provides historical and current information about the computing systems used in medical imaging and goes in-depth into certain concepts. This book meets its purpose in an organized manner.... The book covers the basics of computer function and components to set the stage for the more in-depth topics more relevant to the imaging space.... It is organized in a logical manner to build on the information presented earlier. The language is clear and easily understood. The book contains very high-quality images to support the narratives. The book does a good job of introducing computers in imaging and the informatics and common imaging platforms..." Review by Kyle Theine, MBA RT(R) (MR)(Froedtert Hospital).
