Introduction to Organization Theory and Design

This book introduces readers to the twin fields of organization theory and organization design. After an initial examination of the concept of organization, the evolution of major theories and their effect on organizational paradigms are traced. Following this, an integrated model of the organization is developed and used as the basis for further analysis. The book is intended for undergraduate students of business administration and working professionals who are new to the fields examined.
