When Arms Remain Empty

"I don't know why you aren't getting pregnant." "Your blood test came back Negative. I don't know why it didn't work." Both of these statements were told to me by two different doctors who specialize in infertility treatment. I never got the answers. I never got pregnant. A ten-year struggle ended with arms remaining empty (hence the title of this book). Many women and couples choose not to have children. But no woman chooses to be infertile. This is a medical problem that is costing wanting, loving women and couples way too much time, effort and money. Most often leading to nothing short of pure exhaustion. Infertility has a bad stigma to it because no woman wants to talk about how she can't seem to have the baby she so desperately wants. She would like nothing more than to post the caption on social media that all her friends will oogle over that it's finally her turn to be expecting. But sometimes that baby doesn't happen. Whether you are struggling with infertility yourself or know someone who is, my hope is that you can use the book as a tool, a resource for guidance, ideas, or simply be reassured that you are or the one you know is not alone.
