Description
At a time when global warming is a great concern amongst the world's population, a Russian Climatologist predicts that very soon, the world will experience a sudden and widespread ice age. Before he can join a ship called the Mystery of the Seas on a tour along the Norwegian coast and into the Arctic Ocean, he is killed under suspicious circumstances. Only the American Oceanographer Dr. Terence Breck, who is also aboard the ship and her equally mysterious crew, who call their captain by the nickname of 'Poseidon', can find out the truth before they too are destroyed. The novel covers the actual current scientific research into the new ice age and global warming. Whilst it is a work of fiction, and the characters are figments of the author's imagination, the science and consequences are very real. A little Greek mythology is woven in for added colour.
