Description
Magical P is a fun, adventure story book aimed at two- to five-year-olds as a family, nursery or school shared read. The story is set around a magical plastic bottle who once recycled, can reappear for more and more adventures. Using young children's wonderful make-believe imagination, it encourages the idea of using a recycling bin which in fact is Magical P's bed which he needs to return to after each adventure. The story introduces the idea of the importance of recycling in a light hearted and fun way.
Magical P has a number of adventures and different looks so far... and of course, many more to come in the future, along with his friends Crinkley C ( a tin can), Perfect P ( made of paper), Strong C (cardboard)... Billy battery and many more!

The author was inspired by her own grandmother - 'nanny Buss' who wrote stories for her sister, herself and their cousin. Nanny Buss read, made up, wrote and drew fantastic stories, she always had time to play; spending hours with the cousins making up stories to cheer them up, make them laugh or just to entertain, she was the best nanny! She made great sandcastles and the author has very happy memories of caravanning trips both to a farm and the beaches of west Sussex with nanny and grandad. Her stories would always include the cousins and adventures they were having with pets, school days and family.
Sue Scott retired from a twenty year varied and exciting teaching career when she became a grandmother herself. She knew she wanted to share stories of her own with her grandchildren, who at the time of putting pen to paper were three and one years old.
The author is passionate about our precious planet and her gorgeous family, so Magical P was born as a little bit of fun with an important message.
