Numerical Analysis

This introductory textbook discusses the standard topics of numerical analysis from an algorithmic point of view. Numerical examples are used as illustrations, and diagrams accompany the text to aid comprehension of the subject matter. The representation of the topics is strongly algorithmic in order to take into account the fact that personal computers are now in widespread use. The algorithmic description is given in a form that can easily be translated into the preferred programming language of the reader, thus making the implementation of a method on the computer straightforward.
