Stories are told between photographs of cut stones, bruises and jellyfish-like formations frozen into an artificial waterfall. A mother and her child take public transportation to the city forest to dispose of a placenta that was forgotten in the freezer. An earthquake shakes Athens and changes the laws of physics in an instant. From buying a product to lost plastic bags to intervening in fragile exhibition installations, the protagonist asks herself in "Half Days": What can I change? What do I leave behind? What will be left in me? And who actually belongs to me? The person I share my apartment with or the bacteria on my skin? "Half Days" combines braided grass, a crumpled piece of clothing and galaxies in glitter shower gel with thoughts about fragility and the body, the sense of belonging and crossing borders.
