Erik M. P. Schott, L.C.S.W., Ed.D., is Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California. His areas of research interests include ADHD and LGBT+ studies. Throughout his years as an educator and practicing licensed clinical social worker and educational psychologist, Dr. Schott has counseled hundreds of clients from diverse backgrounds and taught and advised thousands of social work graduate students. Before joining the USC faculty in 2005, Erik was Program Director at the Serra Project. He maintains a small clinical and consultation practice in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Eugenia L. Weiss, L.C.S.W., Psy.D., is an educator and a California licensed clinical social worker and licensed psychologist. She is the author and co-author of multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and is co-author of a book titled A Civilian Counselor's Primer to Counseling Veterans (2nd ed., Linus Books, 2011) and co-editor of the Handbook of Military Social Work (Wiley & Sons, 2013). Also co-editor of Supporting Veterans in Higher Education: A Primer for Administrators, Faculty and Academic Advisors (Lyceum, in press). Her research interests include military/veteran behavioral health, diversity in social work practice and higher education.
