Description
The aim of GNVQ Application of Number is to teach and reinforce numeracy skills through practical contexts. The use of case studies and assignments gives students an opportunity to develop competence in the application of these skills within vocational areas. This book has been written to cover the core skills requirement in Application of Number at level 2. There are two main sections, with extensive cross-referencing between them. The first contains a number of case studies where the core numeracy skills are covered in a variety of vocational contexts. There are a number of questions on each case study. The second section covers the techniques required in the core skills, with questions to check understanding. There are full solutions for both sections.
