The SILVA Network is a non-profit association concerned with higher education in Forestry. Its primary objective is to stimulate and facilitate interuniversity co-operation in the field of forestry education in Europe.
SILVA provides a platform for optimizing teaching in forestry science and related courses as well as for regular exchange on innovative forms of learning and teaching. In particular, students are to be included in this exchange. So far, several exchange programs and multinational curricula have been created and implemented in this way. An important basis for a lively exchange are the SILVA Network Annual Conferences, after which the reviewed proceedings are published.
