Telecommunications Law in Europe

Telecommunications laws provide the tools for the privatisation of state-owned telecommunications enterprises, for the liberalisation of the provision of telecommunications networks, services and terminal equipment, for the increasing pan-European harmonisation of the regulatory framework, and for the merging of telecommunication and media applications, leading to `multimedia' services.
