Wandering Days

A collection of writings done in the late Sixties to early 1970's about the author's journeys in America. The trips described include taxi driving in New York City, hitchhiking cross country, encounters with both police and those outside the law, and observations on a troubled country and its people. Written in episodic form, the book is both a personal diary and a rough guide to America in those years.
