Mosby's Assess Test Secured 2002

MOSBY'S ASSESSTEST is a trusted resource for helping nursing students prepare for the NCLEX-RN® licensure exam by assessing their knowledge and abilities before they take the boards. The AssessTest is comprised of 265 questions that reflect the stand-alone format and distribution of content consistent with the latest NCLEX-RN test plan. Performance is evaluated in categories on client needs, nursing process, clinical area, and focus of care. After taking the exam, the student receives a list of questions answered incorrectly as well as a booklet detailing the correct answers, question classifications, and rationales for all answer options. Unique to the Secured version of the AssessTest, a table compares an institution's 2002 test scores with results from the 2001 and 2000 tests, enabling faculty to evaluate consistency of student performance and curriculum from year to year. New to the 2002 edition, detailed results analysis now outlines 2 new subcategories in the Critical Thinking/Professional Decision-Making for Critical Judgment classification Legal and Ethical Accountability, and Managerial Responsibility.
