Description
Designed to help nursing students prepare for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam, the third edition of this exam assesses their knowledge and abilities before they take the Boards. The AssessTest is comprised of 265 questions that reflect the stand-alone format and distribution of content according to the NCLEX-RN test plan. A detailed computer evaluation analyses individual strengths and weaknesses to help students plan study time more effectively. The computerized institutional report summarizes group performance in the same categories as the individual profile and assists instructors in evaluating the group's strengths and weaknesses. The group scores are compared to those of an RN norm group as well as a programme-specific norm group. Packages test results with a booklet containing correct answers, question classifications, and rationales for correct and incorrect answer options so students may continue to use the AssessTest as a study tool. It is also capable of comparing scores from the 2003, 2002, and 2001 tests to enable faculty to evaluate consistency of student performance and curriculum.
