Well, there are thousands of books on Network Intrusion Prevention already flooding the market and libraries. The reader may naturally wonder about the need of writing another book on this topic. This book is based on my research report which I have written to get degree of Doctorate in Philosophy in Computer Science. This book assumes that you are having basic knowledge of computer science. My objective is not to provide you any catalogue of intrusion prevention protocols, but to come to a behavioral approach to solve this problem of Network Intrusion. Based on my teaching, industrial and consultancy experience, I have tried to achieve these goals in a simple way. I have tried to explain a simple solution to stop spammers and network intruders.
