Description
Snail is fast asleep under a flowerpot in the garden, when suddenly the flowerpot moves, and Snail feels the hot sun on his back. Snail can't stand the sun, so he sets off on a slo-o-ow, slithery journey up the wall, to the cool shady orchard on the other side. On the way, he is given advice by Cat, Wasp, Butterfly and Spider, all of whom are very keen to prove how much faster they are than Snail. But Snail finds a way into the orchard that astonishes all the other animals. A delightful, young picture book with a simple patterned text, and bold, bright illustrations and a surprise full-page flap at the end.
