Description
Cost of construction plays very important character in the development of the country. Waste materials are available in large quantity, both in industries and in nature that can be used in concrete and can increase its strength for inexpensive construction. In the present work effect of coir fibre ash and chopped glass fibre on compressive strength and workability has been studied with partial mix of different amount of ash and fibre content on M-40 grade concrete. This research deals with the consumption of the commercial and natural wastes material in concrete for enhancing its characteristics and making environment eco-friendly. Research also shows the comparative study between glass fibre concrete and plain cement concrete of grade M-40. The conclusion shows the significant changes both in compressive strength as well as workability of concrete.
