David Sands is an established writer and photographer who has studied animals for almost thirty years. He has degree experience in zoology and was awarded a higher degree in ethology for research completed in 1994. David was a senior consultant to Pedigree Petfoods for 10 years. He is the senior animal psychologist at The Animal Behavioural Clinic, Chorley, where he operates on referrals from local veterinary clinics. He is also associate member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors. He has contributed to a great many books and encyclopaedias on health, fish, exotic pets, small animals, dogs and cats.
