Person
Kathy learned to use a sewing machine at the age of 9 but focused her efforts on clothing construction rather than on quilting. She began quilting in 1982 when she attended a quilting class with a friend. At first as a hobby, and then as a means of extra income, Kathy began to do machine quilting full-time when she became self-suporting in 1998. At the urging of friends, Kathy submitted her first book proposal in 2000, and Show Me How to Machine Quilt was published in 2002. Kathy passed away in June 2012 and will be missed by all who knew her.
