Caren Sacks MA, ATR-BC, LCAT, ATCS is a Licensed Board-Certified Creative Art Therapist and Board-Certified Art Therapy Supervisor who has been providing clinical services in the mental health field for more than 35 years. In addition to her professional work as a clinician, supervisor and educator, she has spent many years facilitating Mommy and Me art groups for toddlers. She is dedicated to ensuring that children have an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop strong communication skills-always with consideration of their developmental abilities. Draw Paint Tell grew out of her interest in sharing with others the joys and significance of art making in a child's emotional, cognitive and social development. Joanna Cooke is a writer and illustrator of children's books who has loved drawing since she could hold a pencil. She uses traditional and digital media and participates in numerous local exhibitions and sales of her artwork. She teaches art to children and adults and seeks to inspire her students with her belief that creative expression is possible and fundamental to people of all ages and abilities. She has also written and performed both contemporary and classical music in bands and choirs. Joanna owns a corporate training consultancy and has run communication, leadership, and diversity workshops for more than 27 years. She has 2 grown children and lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
